Season 1 of CBS’ “Magnum P.I.” reboot is currently on a break, with no new episode airing tonight.

The crime-drama returns with Season 1, episode 11, titled “Day of the Viper,” on Jan. 14. When it does come back, fans will see Magnum (Jay Hernandez) and Higgins (Perdita Weeks) on the hunt for an assassin on the island.

“Magnum and Higgins are shocked when one of her former MI6 teammates shows up with a fresh gunshot wound and news that ‘the Viper,’ the assassin who killed Higgins’ true love, has surfaced on Oahu,” the synopsis reveals. “Also, while Magnum’s busy helping Higgins track down the Viper, he asks Rick [Zachary Knighton] to take over a case, a task that Rick relishes until it goes sideways.”

Instead of a new “Magnum P.I.” tonight, CBS is reairing an earlier episode of the series. Fans will get the chance to rewatch episode 3, titled “The Woman Who Never Died,” during the show’s usual 9 p.m. EST time slot.

CBS’ “Bull” is also on hiatus, with a repeat episode airing tonight, as well.

Catch new Season 1 episodes of “Magnum P.I.” when it returns on Jan. 14 on CBS at 9 p.m. EST.
