A new featurette of “Maleficent 2” has been released online, and it is all about Angelina Jolie. The Hollywood star is returning in her titular role, and her fellow cast members praised her performance in the new video that has been released online.

All the main cast members of the highly anticipated sequel spoke about Jolie in the recently released featurette by Disney. “There is no one in the world that could play Maleficent, except for Angelina Jolie,” Elle Fanning said in the video.

Fanning will be playing the role of Jolie’s onscreen daughter Aurora in the film. Seeing the actress back in the black costume and the horns was “exciting” for Fanning.

Diaval actor Sam Riley praised Jolie by saying that she has the “aura” and “charisma” that is needed for the role. Chiwetel Ejiofor, who is playing the character Connal, echoed the same sentiments and said that the actress is able to bring “all of her strength” to her character.

“She’s a force of nature,” Prince Phillip actor Harris Dickinson said about Jolie in “Maleficent 2.” The titular character is not just “dark” in the movie, but she is also “playful.”

Newcomer to the franchise Michelle Pfeiffer said that Jolie is “just other worldly” in the film. She added that her fellow cast member’s performance will take people’s breath away.

Meanwhile, a new set of character posters of the film have been posted on the Twitter page of the film. The new costume of Jolie gives her character a more regal look, thanks to all the additional jewellery that was missing in the previous film. A picture of the character on Instagram gives the fans a good look at the changes to the costume.

According to Jolie, “Maleficent 2” will ask the question of whether people are “all good” or “all bad.” The film is set to be released on Oct. 18.
