Malik Beasley appears to be unbothered by the backlash of his scandal with Larsa Pippen.

On Saturday, the NBA player, 24, made no secret of his affection for the "Real Housewives of Miami" alum, 46, while responding to Pippen's latest post on Instagram. She shared a stunning selfie and asked her followers, "What makes you the happiest?"

Beasley commented on the post with a flirty response to Pippen's question. "U," he wrote, along with a red heart emoji.

Beasley and Pippen faced backlash earlier after photos of them holding hands while shopping on Nov. 23 surfaced. His wife, Montana Yao, immediately filed for divorce and has since claimed that she and their son have been kicked out of their family home.

Now, the Minnesota Timberwolves star's comment triggered another wave of criticism from social media users.

“There’s a thing called direct messages,” one Instagram user wrote, while another commented, “She got that entanglement.”

"Tf is wrong with you??? I get your famous and all and that maybe love doesn't mean the same to you, but at least have a heart and TRY to fix your relationship. She deserves better and so does the child," a third user commented.

"relentless. disgusting. Horrible husband and even worse father to your son. Lara is going to be a senior citizen in 14 years btw so I guess that's a good run for two heartless people who could care less about the sanctity of family," another wrote.

Despite the backlash, many of Pippen's followers remain supportive of her.

"You are truly beautiful," an Instagram user wrote. "I love you dearly darling," another commented.

"I hope nothing but blessings and success for you and your family in th future @larsapippen," a third user commented.

This is not the first time Beasley has left a flirty comment on one of Pippen's Instagram posts. Prior to their PDA, he commented on her Oct. 24 post, writing, "I just want to take you on a date and treat you like a queen."

Meanwhile, Pippen, like Beasley, appeared to be unfazed by the criticisms. Shortly after news of her scandal with the NBA player broke, she hit the beach with her friends in a sexy black swimsuit.
