A 33-year-old man in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, has been arrested after federal and local authorities said they discovered materials depicting child pornography in his residence, which also housed a child daycare center.

Nathan Rex Upton was charged with aggravated possession of child pornography, manufacturing child pornography and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, McAlester News reported, citing documents filed in Pittsburg County District Court.

Upton is also accused of "possessing, with knowledge of its contents, one hundred or more separate materials depicting child pornography" and "knowingly procuring, printing and otherwise creating material depicting children under the age of 18," according to the documents.

The Pittsburg County Sheriff's Office received a tip about Upton from the U.S. Secret Service, Fox 23 reported, citing an affidavit.

A search warrant was obtained based on information from the Secret Service, who said Upton was selling child pornography.

The warrant was executed at Upton's home in McAlester, Oklahoma, on Oct. 20 by deputies with the Pittsburg County Sheriff's Office and special agents with the Department of Homeland Security.

When authorities arrived at Upton's home, he allegedly shouted: "Momma, go unplug my equipment." The suspect's mother, Cathy Upton, was inside the residence at the time.

During their search, officers discovered "anime books" in the 33-year-old's room that showed juveniles having sex with adults. Sex toys and bondage restraints were also found in his room.

A computer and other electronic devices were taken by authorities from Upton's home.

In addition to these, there were also boxes filled with books containing the content at Upton's home. Some of the boxes had prepaid shipping labels on them.

Pittsburg County Sheriff Chris Morris said there is a possibility that local child victims had contact with Upton because he lived in a licensed home daycare he didn't operate near Chadick Park in McAlester, according to McAlester News.

"If that's the case, come forward," Morris said. "If someone would like for us to talk to their kid or have [sic] had thoughts that something may have happened to their kid, please come talk to us."

Morris encouraged anyone who may have information related to the case to contact him or PCSO Deputy Michael Glasco at 918-423-5858.

In addition to the child pornography charges, Upton was also charged with possessing prescription medication that was not prescribed to him, according to the affidavit.

Upton is now detained in the Pittsburg County Jail on a $5 million bond, jail records cited by McAlester News showed.
