Rapper Kanye West has apologized to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian for causing her "any stress." The former couple was married for almost seven years and following their divorce, West has been making various posts on social media, where he shared concerns about raising their kids.

"This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration because God calls me to be stronger," he said on the talk show "Good Morning America" that aired Thursday. "But also, ain't nobody else needs to be causing no stress either."

The 45-year-old rapper further shared that he wants Kardashian to "be least stressed and at best sound mind and as calm as possible to be able to raise those children." He shares four kids - North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3 - with Kardashian.

The rapper was asked if he has a say in co-parenting to which he replied that he has to "fight for it." He shared that it "hurts" when he has to "scream" about what his children are wearing.

"I'm their dad. It has to be co-parenting. It's not up to only the woman. Like, men have a choice also. Men's voices matter," West added.

He explained how he wants his kids to attend his Christian private school, Donda Academy, which is located in Simi Valley, California. "I want my kids togo to Donda and I have to fight for [it]," he said.

A clip from the interview was shared via the "Good Morning America" show's official Twitter handle.

During the interview, the rapper also shared how he looks at using social media.

"We could use a car to rush somebody to the hospital, we could use a car and accidentally hit somebody when we're rushing to the hospital. So it's all how we use it," he said, giving an example of using social media.

Earlier this month, West blamed pornography addiction for destroying his family and explained how Hollywood is a "giant brothel" on Instagram. The rapper also shared some text exchange screenshots. However, all these posts were deleted later.

Kardashian filed for divorce in February last year. She then went on to date comedian Pete Davidson. They broke up after dating for nine months. West, on the other hand, was romantically linked with Julia Fox.
