Manchester United’s 6-1 Premier League loss to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday may have serious consequences for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, according to Roy Keane.

"The performance against Spurs was disgraceful," Keane told ITV Sport.

The former Manchester United star warned that the Norwegian manager may not last as the team’s boss, Goal reported.

"We’ve all be in football, we’ve had bad days but I thought it was a disgrace to the badge some of the players’ performance. Too many bluffers," Keane continued.

Several have criticized Soslkjaer for the loss as the club struggled to find its groove on the field. Despite the team scoring care of a Bruno Fernandes penalty in the second minute of the match, the momentum quickly went downhill from there. Heung-min Son and Harry Kane both tallied a brace that was more than enough to keep the Old Trafford-based squad down.

Keane predicted that Solskjaer’s job may be in danger after the Red Devils’ lopsided defeat, with how they underperformed given their lineup.

"Ultimately, I think it will cost Ole his job. With the players he’s got there," Keane added.

The team has noteworthy talent on its squad, led by the resurgence of Paul Pogba as a star and Fernandes as a consistent scorer. Developing talents such as Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood have also been key pieces to the current squad.

In this season’s Premier League standings, Manchester United ranks 16th place with one win and two losses.

"I’ve said it before, they threw the previous manager [Mourinho] under the bus and they’ll do exactly the same to Ole," Keane pointed out.

Solskjaer described the lopsided defeat as the worst day of his career as Manchester United’s coach, The Guardian reported.

The manager said that he’s taking responsibility for the results of the match. He emphasized that there are a lot of things that he has to reevaluate as the leader of his squad in order to recover from the big loss.

Manchester United will look to bounce back in its upcoming Premier League bout against Newcastle on Oct. 17 at St. James' Park.
