The timeline of “The Mandalorian” gives the producers the opportunity to bring back characters from the popular “Rebels” animation series. One particular character that fans are eager to see in the flesh in Sabine Wren, a character previously voiced by Tiya Sircar.

Pedro Pascal plays the role of lone gunfighter in the highly anticipated live action series. The character is a bounty hunter who fights against other scoundrels to make a living in the chaotic world. Will the protagonist meet others from his home planet of Mandalore on the show?

According to a theory by IGN, one character that Pascal’s character can meet is Sabine Wren. Sircar’s character is also from Mandalore, and the animation series has already confirmed that the character was alive after the fall of the Empire.

The other important character from the “Rebels” animation series who can potentially make an appearance sometime in the future are the Jedi Ezra Bridger (Voice by Taylor Gray), Ahsoka Tano (Voice by Ashley Eckstein) and the villain Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen).

Gina Carano, who plays the role of a former Shock Trooper turned mercenary, recently told IGN that there is a big “surprise” waiting for the fans in the TV series. Will this surprise be about the return of a familiar character?

The franchise has already brought back Maul (Ray Park) in “Solo: A Star Wars Story.” It remains to be seen which other major character will return.

The main villain in the upcoming live action TV series is Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), who was a Sector Governor under the First Galactic Empire, Entertainment Weekly reported. The character will be seen as a regional warlord.

The plot of “The Mandalorian” will be about Pascal’s character taking on a job that no one else wants. The TV series will be released on Disney+ streaming service on Nov. 12.
