The first trailer of “The Mandalorian” TV series revealed a lot of details, but there are still many secrets that the video didn’t show. Cast member Gina Carano, who plays Cara Dune on the show, recently teased that there is a big “beautiful surprise” waiting for the fans.

In a recent interview with IGN, when Carano was asked to talk about her favourite part of the show, she said that it was the big “surprise.” The actress isn’t allowed to share details about this big reveal yet, but she teased that the fans will know what she is talking about when they watch the TV series.

So far, it isn’t clear what the lone gunfighter played by Pedro Pascal sounds like, and it is also not clear if the fans will get to see the character’s face. In an interview with Los Angeles Times, Pascal said that under the helmet he channelled Harrison Ford’s “Star Wars” character Han Solo, who he described as his hero.

Pascal explained that his character in “The Mandalorian” is built on Clint Eastwood character in Sergio Leone’s “Dollars Trilogy” and the lone samurai in movies by Akira Kurosawa. “It’s aesthetically and very, very much narratively built in that kind of iconic lone gunslinger/sword-wielder,” Pascal teased.

The TV series is set in a world with no morals, where people survive by doing what they can. The timeline of the show is just after the fall of the Empire and before the rise of the New Republic.

The trailer that was released online teased the main villain to be Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). After the fall of the Empire, the regional governors become dictators and warlords who rule the planets in their sector with the help of the Stormtroopers who answer to them.

“The Mandalorian” will be released on Nov. 12 on the Disney+ streaming service. The plot of the show revolves round the gunslinger getting a job that no one else is ready to take.
