The next trailer of “The Mandalorian” is expected to be released at the D23 event that will take place between Aug. 23 and 25. There will also be a panel discussion with guests from the show, but full details about it are yet to be announced.

A first look video of “The Mandalorian” was previously previewed at the “Star Wars Celebrations” event. However, that video was not released online to the public. The teaser is available online thanks to the low quality cell phone capture by some of the fans.

The previously released video was a preview with comments by the producers and the cast. The first official trailer is expected to be released now at Disney’s D23 event next week, Screen Rant reported.

A team, possibly led by showrunner Jon Favreau, is expected to discuss the show and some of the elements. The fans are already familiar with the storyline of the lone gunfighter played by Pedro Pascal. Now, details about some of the other characters, like the one played by “Breaking Bad” star Giancarlo Esposito, may be discussed.

One character that may be an antagonist to Pascal’s character in “The Mandalorian” is the assassin droid IG-11. Favreau had previously teased a picture of the prop of the character on Instagram, and the trailer teased the character in a big action sequence. The main villain, however, is expected to Esposito’s character.

As previously reported, Esposito told reporters at the Television Critics Association panel that he is playing “an underworld character.” The character’s main aim on the show will be to bring “order” to the world after chaos spreads across the galaxy because of the fall of the Empire.

“The Mandalorian” will be available on Disney’s new streaming service. The TV series is expected to premiere in November on the new platform.
