Mandy Moore has joined the viral TikTok drop challenge but with a twist. The actress uploaded her take on the challenge in her Instagram page Monday featuring her one-year-old son, Gus dropping different items on the floor.

Moore picked up various items on the floor including a baby spoon, toys, and a fruit to the tune of Beyonce’s 2013 hit, “Partition” as she gazed at the camera in a rather seductive way.

She promoted her new single “In Real Life” in a subtle way in the caption of her drop challenge post, “We're dropping more than baby toys, spoons and avocados! 'In Real Life' drops tomorrow!! RSVP to be the first to see the art #dropchallenge.”

Moore’s upload has been liked nearly 230,000 times by her followers and celebrity friends. Diane Keaton took the comments section and reacted with laughing emojis.

The “Walk Me Home” singer shares Gus with husband Taylor Goldsmith. The proud parents threw an outdoor party when the little tot turned one in February. The actress shared happy moments of her son’s birthday on her Instagram page including a photo of the kid looking at his cake as his parents hold him.

“1st birthday party was a hit! Making memories and so full of love and cake. #thisisgus,” she wrote.

The viral social media challenge originated from comedian Atsuko Okatsuka who dropped down in a squatting position while out with her grandmother in January. Pop culture expert Kiki Monique uploaded clips of Okatsuka doing the famous drop down act while out in the street, inside a coffee shop, while in line at a tourist loation and inside an elevator. She wrote, "The comedian who went viral with her grandma and created the #dropchallenge stopped by @imsorry_podcast to talk family feuds!"

Since then, Okatsuka has included her drop act in comedy shows to fuel the popularity of the challenge.

Even the cast of Saturday Night Live joined the viral social media trend as shown in this tweet by Okatsuka who wrote, “The cast of @nbcsnl did my #dropchallenge tonight _ starting trends is silly.”

The originator of the drop challenge also showed the cast of “Squid Game” nailing the challenge in her tweet where she wrote, “ Cast of Squid Game did my #dropchallenge & I just hope it gets added as a game in season 2."
