Mariah Carey’s iconic song “All I Want for Christmas is You” has entered the Billboard chart just ahead of the holiday season.

The Holiday 100 chart was recently curated and the updated list featured some new entries. However, like every year, Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” dominated the chart and claimed the top spot for its 41st week, Billboard reported.

The list, which was launched in 2011, ranks the top seasonal songs of all eras with the same formula that is used to rank songs on the Hot 100 chart.

The song also holds the record for spending 26 consecutive weeks at the top of the Holiday 100 chart, starting at the 2015-16 holiday season.

Apart from topping the Billboard chart, Carey’s single is on course of clinching the top spot on the Official U.K. Singles chart this week. The song has climbed up to no. 2 and is just 900 chart sales behind Ariana Grande's hit track "Positions."

If the song manages to nab the first position, it would create history by achieving the monumental feat after 26 years of its release.

The song also holds three Guiness World Records, including the highest-charting holiday song on Billboard Hot 100 by a solo artist.

The Holiday 100 chart also included songs from artists like Brenda Lee, Bobby Helms and Andy Williams.

Lee's hit song "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" peaked at no. 2 while Helms' "Jingle Bell Rock" came at no. 3.

"A Holly Jolly Christmas" by Burl Ives and "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" by Williams rounded off the top five.

Other artists on the list are Justin Bieber, Carrie Underwood, Ariana Grande, Pentatonix, and John Legend.
