Mariah Carey recently flaunted her perfect figure on social media. However, some netizens don’t think that the singer’s body in the photo is a result of a healthy diet and exercise, saying that the bikini pictures were actually photoshopped.

Carey recently shared a set of pictures of her on Instagram in which the singer is wearing only a pink bikini at a swimming pool. While many of her fans complimented her for having an “ageless” body, others who commented on the pictures suggested that they may have been photshopped.

“Surgery or photoshop. Either way, it pays to have money,” one of the comments read.

According to a report by AOL, Carey rang in the New Year with a tropical vacation. The pictures she shared online were reportedly from her vacation in St. Barts. The singer captioned one of her pictures on Instagram, “Happy.” This picture showed her taking a dip in the pool at night.

Despite the criticism and accusations, Carey has a lot to smile about these days. She released a new album at the end of last year, and the album has won praise from the critics. The singer is set to build on that success as she enters 2019.

According to FM 100, Carey’s seasonal hit song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has risen to new highs, as it ranked at no. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was first released way back in 1994 in the album titled “Merry Christmas.” The song makes an appearance in the top charts during the holiday season every year since then. The album also took the top spot on the Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart last month.

Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” song achieved a milestone after it broke the record on Spotify for most streams in a day. The song was reportedly played 10.8 million times on Christmas Eve. About 100 million copies of the song have been sold to date, with Carey earning $60 million in royalties from it. She also earns about $500,000 from the song every year from the song in the U.K. market alone, Independent reported.

“All I Want For Christmas Is You” is a popular song in the east as well. The song is said to be so popular in Japan that Carey was invited to perform there.
