If you wish to spend your summer of 2018 in presidential style, it is time for you to decide fast. The Martha’s Vineyard estate in Dukes County, Massachusetts, which was rented by former President Barack Obama and his family in the summer of 2013, is up for sale. It’s now on the market with a price tag of $17.75 million.

Even though the price is high, reports claim that the property had a comparatively high price by a few millions a couple of years ago.

The palatial abode is reportedly owned by Obama supporters David and Patricia Schulte. The two spend most of their time in Chicago, according to the Town and Country Magazine.

According to the SF Gate, the property was originally listed at $22.5 million in 2015. The estate spread across 9.5-acres of land was offered at a discounted price of $19.12 million this spring.

The magnificent Chilmark House is an award-winning triumph of design and execution, majestically perched 120 feet above the Atlantic Ocean on Martha’s Vineyard’s South Shore.

With panoramic ocean views, gracious skylights, huge windows and wonderful detail in both design and materials, the Chilmark House is extraordinary.

According to the listing on Wallace & Co. Sotheby’s International Realty, the stunning 7,000 square foot paradise, Chilmark House, boasts six bedrooms and five full baths with beachfront views.

With oak and limestone floors, oversized wood burning fireplaces, skylights, and a top of the line kitchen, the exotic property provides facilities that make it perfect as a vacation home. It has a private gym, a two-bedroom guest cottage, and three private beach zones accessible by boat.

If you are an art lover, this sophisticated estate is an art collector’s dream as it has been designed with abundant space to showcase art. This home blends traditional Vineyard motifs with a modern aesthetic. Views from the grand entrance encompass the ocean and an infinity pool. The flawless attention to detail is highlighted in the chef’s kitchen with sitting area, fireplace and custom casework.

Other facilities like the heated infinity pool, half-basketball court, large screened porch and outdoor terraces adds to the recreation space. A true seaside splendor, it also has a private dock on the tranquil Chilmark pond.

According to Fox News, the former President and his family often summered here, renting out the Chilmark House multiple times, during his eight years of administration. The former First Family will hopefully drop by to say hello to the new owners this summer, reported Fox News.

According to the New York Daily News, the sprawling home’s price per square foot is $2,536.
