The heroes of “Marvel Future Fight” are about to get some big help, as the latest update of the game adds characters from the hit movie “Guardians of the Galaxy” to the playable roster. Fans will be able to unlock Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Groot and Drax the Destroyer, as well as their enemies Ronan the Accuser, Nebula and Yondu the bounty hunter.

Fans of the film will be happy to know that the Guardians all come in their movie uniforms, so Gamora looks like Zoe Saldana and Drax strikes a resemblance to former pro wrestling champion Dave Batista. Those who want to see Yondu in his classic uniform will have to stick with the “Guardians 3000” comic that Marvel is currently publishing.

Players hoping to unlock the Guardians will have to play through the game’s new Special Mission mode, which was introduced in the “Marvel Future Fight” update. According to Over Mental, players will be able to complete 10 special missions a day, with each mission awarding victorious players with a particular biometric to unlock the characters.

Some characters are easier to unlock than others, however. Rocket Racoon is fairly easy to unlock, as players simply have to log in for seven days straight to get his biometrics. The new special missions also award biometrics for Drax, Groot, Nebula and Yondu, so they are also easy to get.

The same cannot be said for Star-Lord and Gamora, as both characters are available only through the Chaos Token Shop and Honor Token Shop, respectively, for 3,500 tokens each. Those with some extra money to spend can purchase the complete cast through the limited “Guardians of the Galaxy” Dimension Chest.

The “Marvel Future Fight” update also comes with new costumes for Ultron, Character Descriptions, Gamepad support and much more. “Marvel Future Fight” was developed by Netmarble and is currently a free-to-play title for Apple iOS and Google Android devices.
