  • Apple is expected to officially unveil the iPhone 12 series in Sept. 2020
  • A new leak surced recently revealing the specs and prices of all four iPhone 12 models
  • Earlier rumors claimed that one of the iPhone 12 models might arrive in Oct. or Nov. of this year

Despite the current global health crisis brought by the COVID-19 virus, tech enthusiasts are anticipating that Apple would unveil its next generation flagship smartphone this year. Since last year, analysts and supply chain sources have been predicting and sharing some details about the iPhone 12 series. Interestingly, a massive leak surfaced online, revealing the prices and specs of all the four models releasing under the iPhone 12 line up.

The massive leak about the iPhone 12 series comes from tech and gadget sleuth and YouTuber Jon Prosser. On his official Twitter account, Prosser shares that he asked his sources about the prices of the iPhone 12 models after he has seen some reports speculating about it. In his tweet, Prosser reveals the iPhone 12 models and their corresponding prices and camera configuration.

According to the tipster, the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 with an OLED display and 5G support will retail at $649. The model will feature a dual rear camera, says the leaker. Meanwhile, he claims that the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 with 5G support and OLED display will sport a dual rear camera and will retail at $749. Meanwhile, the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro model with triple rear camera configuration and LiDAR sensor will retail at $999.

The said model will support 5G wireless network connectivity and an OLED display. The more expensive 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max with three rear cameras and LiDAR scanner reportedly will retail at $1,099. The higher tier model will allegedly have 5G support and will also feature an OLED display, according to Prosser.

It is worth mentioning that the Cupertino tech giant has never sold an iPhone with an OLED display at a price below $999. But, based on Prosser’s information, it looks like that is going to change this year. Additionally, Prosser’s details about the iPhone 12 models align with what TFI Securities Analyst and Apple Tipster Ming-Chi Kuo revealed earlier.

Whispers online claim that Apple might launch the iPhone 12 series this Sept. but, the higher tier model might meet some delays and might launch in Oct. or Nov. 2020. At this point, despite the impressive record of Prosser, it is safe to take this information with a good measure of salt.
