After more than a year of waiting for the return of the race around the world for $1 million, fans of “Amazing Race” are finally seeing the show grace their TV screens once again. Now, with Season 31, they’ll also get the ultimate reality competition showdown, as teams from “TAR” seasons past face off against former “Survivor” and “Big Brother” contestants for supreme bragging rights.

In a press release, the CBS show revealed that the castaways, racers and houseguests will duke it out on a 25,000+ mile journey to see who wins $1 million in the end, but the nature of these competitors will likely keep the heat turned up high, as they all intend to win.

With this level of competition, things are sure to be more intriguing, dramatic and intense than ever, with sparks flying every leg as the teams all fight and claw their way to the finish line.

So who are the 11 teams who are signing up for this battle to the end? Get reacquainted with them before the Season 31 premiere below.

1. Art Velez and John James “JJ” Carroll: These 49-year-olds from San Marcos and Temecula, California, are Border Patrol agents who previously appeared on Season 20 of “Amazing Race,” where they came in second.

2. Colin Guinn and Christie Woods: Colin, 38, and Christie, 40, who come from Austin, Texas, previously came in second back on the fifth season of “Amazing Race.”

3. Becca Droz and Floyd Pierce: Becca, 28, and Floyd, 23, both from Colorado, impressed everyone during Season 29 of “The Amazing Race,” not only for their fifth-place finish but for being one of the most enjoyable teams to watch in the show’s history.

4. Leo Temory and Jamal Zadran: The cousins, 31 and 30, from Pasadena, California and Houston, Texas, previously competed on Seasons 23 and 24 of “The Amazing Race”--where they placed fourth each time.

5. Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl: The YouTube stars, 31 and 33, from Los Angeles and San Francisco, placed third during Season 28 of “The Amazing Race.”

6. Chris Hammons and Bret Labelle: Chris, 40, and Bret, 44, from Moore, Oklahoma and Dedham, Massachusetts, met while competing on “Survivor: Millenials vs. Gen X” and became friends.

7. Corinne Kaplan and Eliza Orlins: Corinne, 39, and Eliza, 35, from Denver, Colorado and New York, have each competed on two prior seasons of “Survivor.”

8. Rupert and Laura Boneham: Rupert, 54, has competed on four previous seasons of “Survivor,” including alongside his wife, 49, on “Blood vs. Water.” He won the $1 million prize on “All-Stars.”

9. Janelle Pierzina and Britney Haynes: Janelle, 38, and Britney, 30, have each competed on two seasons of “Big Brother,” and met while competing on Season 14 of the show.

10. Rachel Reilly and Elissa Slater: Not only did Rachel compete twice on “Big Brother,” winning Season 13, but she’s also a two-time “Race” vet as well, coming in third twice with her husband, Brendon. Her sister, Elissa, is competing for the first time on “Race,” but is another “Big Brother” veteran.

11. Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo: The couple, 26 and 28, met on Season 18 of “Big Brother,” which she won.
