The Mega Millions lottery has not been especially kind to players lately. Nobody has taken home its ever-growing jackpot since the year started, leaving it at a massive $224 million going into Friday night’s drawing.

There is good news and bad news this week. The good news is there were plenty of big winners on Friday night, but unfortunately for those who played, nobody won the jackpot.

The winning numbers on Friday night were 18, 24, 31, 34 and 55, with a gold ball number of 4. There was also a 4X Megaplier, meaning some lucky players had their winnings quadrupled at the end of the night.

Four different people won the Match 5 prize of $1 million, which is four times as many as Tuesday’s drawing. The winners were in California, Maryland, Michigan and New York. Two people took home $40,000 and 18 others won $10,000. Even though nobody won the jackpot, it was a good night for Mega Millions players, overall.

The next Mega Millions drawing is on Tuesday at 11 p.m. ET. Since nobody won the jackpot this week, it will grow to $245 million on Tuesday. It will also be worth a $148.3 cash option.
