Although no one was able to win the grand prize, two players were able to become instant millionaires following the latest lottery drawing. A player from Oklahoma hit the Match 5 and won a $1 million prize.

Meanwhile, a player in Texas managed to hit the Match 5 with a Megaplier purchase, putting their winnings for the night at $3 million.

Aside from the two instant millionaires of the night, several other players won smaller monetary prizes from the Tuesday drawing.

There were 16 players who hit the Match 4 plus the gold Mega Ball, winning $10,000 apiece. Three of those players were able to hit the Match 4 plus gold Mega Ball with a 3X Megaplier purchase and win $30,000 each.

The rest of the Mega Millions prizes from the night ranged between $2 and $1,500.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be worth an estimated $169 million with a cash option of $95.4 million. The numbers will be drawn on Friday, Sept. 2.

The latest jackpot comes as the $1.34 billion prize has yet to be claimed following the July 29 drawing.

The winning ticket was purchased at a Speedway gas station in Des Plaines, Illinois, CNN reported. The Illinois Lottery has advised the winner, who has one year to claim their prize, to sign the back of the ticket and store it in a safe place. The winner should also consider consulting professionals for financial and legal advice about their winnings before calling the lottery hotline to claim the prize.

Jackpot winners can receive grand prize winnings through a one-time lump sum payment or an annuity. Those who opt for the annuity receive one immediate payment, followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, and the Virgin Islands.
