Did Meghan Markle just channel her future sister-in-law, Kate Middleton?

On Thursday, Prince Harry and the "Suits" star attended the annual Endeavour Fund Awards in London. The event celebrates the achievements of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women who were part of sporting and adventures over the past years, People reported.

Markle surprised everyone with her outfit when she opted for a tailored black pantsuit from Alexander McQueen. The designer is known to be the Duchess of Cambridge's favorite. In fact, they designed Middleton's bridal gown for her royal wedding to Prince William in 2011. Aside from Middleton's wedding dress, she has been seen in Alexander McQueen outfits on different occasions.

While Markle rocked a black pantsuit, Middleton donned a full-length pale pink gown from the same designer in Oslo, Express reported. Middleton and Prince William are currently in Norway for an official visit.

Markle's choice of wearing a McQueen ensemble could be another hint of her good relationship with Middleton. The actress is aware that the brand is associated with the Duchess and opting to wear one of its designs gives the impression that she is paying tribute to Middleton, who will reportedly be her mentor when she becomes an official member of the British royal family.

Markle paired her black ensemble with an ivory silk crepe bodysuit from Tuxe Bodywear and black pumps. Meanwhile, Prince Harry opted for a blue suit.

Prince Harry attended the same awards ceremony last year with his brother, Prince William. This time he opted to make an appearance with his future bride, while Prince William and Middleton finished their four-day Scandinavian royal tour.

Prior to the awards ceremony, the couple met with the inspiring nominees, participants and supporters. The charity was founded in 2012 by the Royal Foundation, which is run by Prince William, Middleton and Prince Harry.

Although Markle is not a royal yet, she joined Prince Harry on the judging panel of the Endeavor Fund. "The panel considered some submissions and they went through those with other people, spending a day considering the submissions and helped to make the decisions along with the rest of the panel," a source told the publication.

"I'm truly privileged to be here," Markle said in a short speech before handing out the prize.
