Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have stolen the spotlight from Prince Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

There is no doubt that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are among the most talked royal. In fact, some believe that they attracted the media attention the way Princess Diana did and they are already eclipsing the other members of the royal family because more prefer to cover their stories compared to the other members of the royal family.

“I think it is fair to say that Meghan and Harry have really occupied the spotlight. Since the royal wedding, they are rarely off the front pages. I think there is a risk that they could eclipse other members of the Royal Family,” Katie Nicholl told Yahoo’s Royal Box.

“I think you are already seeing more column inches dedicated to Meghan and Harry than we are to the Cambridges and, certainly, to the Prince of Wales,” Nicholl added suggesting that more talk about Prince Harry and Markle compared to Prince Charles, Prince William and Middleton.

Nicholl compared the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s popularity to Princess Diana’s phenomenon and the drawbacks that came with it after the Princess of Wales eclipsed her husband. According to the royal biographer, it had a “negative knock-on effect for the monarchy.”

Just recently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were criticized for keeping baby Sussex’s birth private. A number of individuals believe that they are entitled to know when the baby is born because they pay for Prince Harry and Markle’s privileged lifestyle.

Daniela Elser also believed that there’s a fine line between maximizing their privacy at such a special time and fulfilling their royal responsibility. For Elser, Prince Harry is “botching” this.

She recommends that if Prince Harry and Markle find the cost of being royal too high, they should leave it. The couple should ditch the HRH title, return the diamonds and decamp, so they could go to Malibu, spend their days Instagramming with vengeance and give TED talks.

In related news, there were rumors that Markle already gave birth. Among the major clues that royal fans consider were Queen Elizabeth II’s visit to Frogmore Cottage. In addition, Prince William and Middleton also visited the couple at their new home.
