Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s marriage is reportedly in crisis and Chelsy Davy flew to London for her ex-boyfriend.

According to New Idea, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s marriage is in crisis and Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend has decided to fly to London to rescue him. The report came after Prince Harry was spotted in a bad mood during his and Markle’s joint appearance at Trooping the Colour.

According to the publication’s royal correspondent Phil Dampier, there was clear friction between the couple and it has taken its toll on their relationship. He pointed out how Prince Harry lost a bit of his spark and sense of humor and was evidently grumpy and miserable.

Amid the alleged marital issues, Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy was photographed arriving in the U.K. Chelsy was reportedly concerned about Prince Harry and visited London last week to check on him. She also visited some of the royal family’s favorite haunts including Annabel’s nightclub.

The publication believes that the exes would catch up soon. Prince Harry and Chelsy, who had an on-again, off-again relationship for seven years, remain friends after their split. In fact, Chelsy was among Prince Harry and Markle’s wedding guests.

According to Dampier, Prince Harry used to believe that Chelsy would be his future wife.

“I don’t have any doubt that Chelsy was the love of Harry’s life and he will always carry a torch for her,” Dampier said.

“I’m sure he wanted to marry her and the only reason he didn’t was because she got cold feet and couldn’t face the prospect of living the rest of her life in the spotlight as a princess. She just wasn’t cut out for it and so the relationship was doomed in the long term.”

Katie Nicholl claimed that Prince Harry and Chelsy tried to rekindle their romance by flying to Africa together in 2015. However, there were no sparks anymore.

Dampier is hoping that what Prince Harry is going through at present is just a phase and that he will return to his old self.

In related news, Prince Harry reportedly sidelined anybody who voiced their reservations about Markle, including his close friends and even brother, Prince William. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were slammed by netizens for their “cold” and “useless” birthday message to the Duke of Cambridge on his 37th birthday on Friday.
