Meghan Markle prompted Queen Elizabeth II to do one “unusual” thing.

The Queen and the Duchess of Sussex have shared a great relationship. Many believe that Markle didn’t have a hard time winning the Queen’s heart because, in the first place, her now-husband, Prince Harry is very special to the monarch.

According to Angela Levin, during an overnight trip on the royal train, Markle prompted Queen Elizabeth II to do something that was “unusual” for her.

“When Meghan went with the Queen on an outing overnight on the royal train, Meghan seemed to make her roar with laughter,” Levin told Express. “That’s quite unusual for the Queen to do that when she is on duty.”

Queen Elizabeth II and Markle set off to Cheshire for their first solo outing last year less than a month after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s royal wedding. There are rumors that the Queen favors Markle more than her sister-in-law Kate Middleton due to the said incident.

Queen Elizabeth and Markle’s solo appearance was historic because it happened very early in her marriage to Prince Harry. The Duchess of Cambridge waited much longer to have the same solo appearance with Her Majesty.

Middleton and Queen Elizabeth II’s solo outing happened almost a year after her wedding to Prince William. In addition, the Queen gave the Duchess of Sussex extra special honor by inviting her to join on her private train to travel to Chester because not every royal were honored to ride it.

Also, Markle was the first royal fiancée to join the royal family for Christmas in Sandringham. According to an insider, Prince Harry asked his grandmother to have Markle joined them on holiday and Her Majesty said “yes” because she couldn’t say “no” to him.

There are rumors that Prince Harry is Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite grandson.

According to E! News royal correspondent Melania Bromley, Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth II have a more “fun” relationship compared to Prince William. The Duke of Cambridge is the future king, so his relationship with Her Majesty is “half family and half business.”
