Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were invited by Queen Elizabeth to attend two royal engagements after their bombshell exit.

The Duke of Sussex has already confirmed his attendance at the Mountbatten Festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall. Archie’s dad will also attend the Commonwealth Day service next month.

Royal commentator Omid Scobie recently revealed that Markle’s attendance hasn’t been confirmed for both royal engagements. However, the two events are supposed to be the Duchess of Sussex’s final engagements as working members of the royal family.

“That will be an appearance at least by Harry at the Mountbatten Festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall. This is the event that really takes place over two nights, Harry and Meghan TBC will appear at this event. It will likely be poignant for Harry as he is not just giving up his role as a senior royal but he is also giving up his military honors,” Scobie said.

The royal commentator added that there is an expectation for Markle to at least attend the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on March 10. But there is still no confirmation from the Duchess of Sussex.

Earlier this month, reports swirled that Queen Elizabeth invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to join the royal family next month. A source told Us Weekly that Her Majesty pleaded with Prince William and Prince Harry to show a united front at the Commonwealth Day service.

“The Queen's hoping everyone will put on a united front when Harry returns to London in March — even though there's still tension behind closed doors, ” the source said.

Prince William and Prince Harry have reportedly been feuding throughout the past couple of months. Before the Duke of Sussex announced his decision to quit The Firm, he didn’t have the chance to patch things up with his brother.

But days after Megxit, the royal siblings reunited at Sandringham for the Queen’s crisis talks.
