Meghan Markle recently stunned in a denim dress.

The Duchess of Sussex immediately flew to New York to support her close pal Serena Williams live at the US Open final after witnessing her victory at the semi-final on Thursday on TV. Markle arrived on the tournament wearing a belted navy denim dress by J. Crew. She paired it with a slick cardigan that slung chicly around her shoulders designed by the same brand, Hello! Magazine reported.

Markle brought a pair of Victoria Beckham aviators and accessorized with a beautiful Sophie Ratner initial tag necklace and Jennifer Meyer earrings.

The Duchess of Sussex showed off her flawless skin with minimal make up. Prince Harry’s wife let her hair fall in waves. She looked fresh and glowing as ever.

Markle also watched William’s game at Wimbledon in July. She was joined by university friends Genevieve Hillis and Lindsay Roth. On the said outing, she wore a black cami, blue jeans and white pinstripe blazer which she paired with black court shoes and sunglasses.

However, according to an insider, Markle made a fashion faux pas with her outfit because the etiquette suggests that those in the royal box area should wear a formal attire.

“She’s not allowed to wear jeans,” one member said. “She wanted to come incognito but there were problems. They couldn’t invite her into the royal box because she was wearing jeans but that didn’t really matter because all she wanted to do was come and watch Serena.”

During the Wimbledon Ladies’ Singles Final, Williams played against Simona Halep. Markle watched the game with Kate Middleton and Pippa Middleton. Unfortunately, Markle’s friend lost the match.

According to a recent report, Williams was concerned when she learned that Markle would be watching her match at US Open because she lost the tournament when Markle watched her at Wimbledon finals. This triggered the rumors that Markle is a bad omen to Williams.

“Serena asked her coach about Meghan coming when she won last night and everyone is worried, as tennis players are very superstitious, and Serena lost when Meghan came to watch her at Wimbledon,” a source told Page Six. “[Williams’ coach] Patrick [Mouratoglou] keeps telling her, ‘Focus focus focus.’ The aim is getting her to win her 24th Grand Slam.”

Despite Markle’s support, Williams lost the game to Bianca Andreescu.
