Meghan Markle wore Princess Diana's jewelry during her first outing after her pregnancy announcement.

On Tuesday, the Duchess of Sussex stepped out with a very special pair of earrings that belonged to her late mother-in-law. Markle wore an ivory shift dress by Sydney-designer Karen Gee. She accessorized with Princess Diana's butterfly earrings and paired them with a bracelet also from the People's Princess.

According to Sophie Vokes-Dudgeon, a journalist for Hello!, this is Markle's way to pay tribute to the Princess of Wales following the happy news that she and Prince Harry are expecting their first child.

In related news, psychic Simone Simmons claimed that Princess Diana will talk directly to the new royal baby the way she "talks to Princess Charlotte." "Diana often tells me how much she adores George and Charlotte. She talks to Charlotte a lot about her favourite colours and toys," Simmons told Fabulous Online (as quoted by The Sun). "This baby will have great communication with Diana. That’s going to be interesting. I’d love to be a fly on the wall."

"I could feel it in my bones. The baby will be born in March or April next year and will be a bundle of joy. The queen will be overjoyed, as will Princess Charles, William and Kate," she continued. "It's going to be great for the country. In the future, this baby will take over from Diana and shine his/her light in the dark corners of the world."

Prince Harry and Markle's baby announcement wasn't a big surprise to many. Paul Burrell, Princess Diana's former royal butler, said earlier that the couple wanted to have children soon.

"I believe that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will start a family as soon as possible!" Burrell said. "Harry also wants a large family and wants children as quickly as possible."

In June, Markle's father, Thomas Markle Sr., revealed in an interview that the new royal "has wanted children for a long time." He teased that "there's got to be a child in them" and added that it "will happen soon."

Erin Specht, who dated Markle's brother for about 16 tears, was also positive that the Duchess of Sussex would be trying for a baby on their honeymoon. She also believes that the former "Suits" actress would be a "brilliant mum."
