Meghan Markle's father sat down for another interview after learning that she's not happy with him lately.

Thomas Markle Sr. is determined to get the royal family's attention. In fact, after learning that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not happy with his recent interview, he agreed to have another one.

"I was silent for a full year and the press beat me up every day saying I was a hermit hiding in Mexico, so I gave my story. Apparently, that interview put the Royal Family in their silence mode ... so, I gave another interview to break the silence. All they have to do is speak to me," Thomas told TMZ.

According to Markle's father, the palace's silent treatment is wishful thinking on their part that he would just go away as he claimed that this is not happening. He insisted that all he wants is to contact his daughter. He is turning a year older tomorrow and is optimistic to hear back from Duchess of Sussex.

"Tomorrow is my birthday, 74 years old, and I'm enjoying the fact that I can make the entire Royal Family not speak and maybe I can get a laugh out of the Duchess," Thomas added.

According to an insider, Prince Harry and Markle were not pleased with Thomas' choice to continue doing paid interviews. "[They] are frustrated he keeps speaking to the tabloids and taking payment for interviews," a source told Entertainment Tonight.

Just recently, Thomas sat with The Sun and made another round of revelations about his daughter. According to him, Markle looked "terrified" after joining the royal.

"I think she is terrified [of her new life]," Thomas said. "I see it in her eyes, I see it in her face and I see it in her smile. I've seen her smile for years. I know her smile. I don't like the one I'm seeing now. This one isn't even a stage smile ― this is a pained smile."

In June, Thomas who had been silence for a year shocked fans when he agreed to do a TV interview with "Good Morning Britain." During his guesting, he shared a personal conversation with Prince Harry and how the duke advised him to give Donald Trump a chance. He also confessed that his daughter, Markle, is desperate to have a child.
