Meghan Markle has a good relationship with her friends.

On Saturday, the Duchess of Sussex celebrated her 37th birthday. To mark the event, her dear friend, Daniel Martin, shared a clip of Markle eating raspberry with her fingers. In the video, Prince Harry's wife can be heard asking Martin, "Ready?" Markle then quickly devoured each raspberry on her fingers and showed off her empty hand with her mouth full to the camera.

"Happiest of birthdays my friend," Martin wrote in the caption (via People).

The publication noted that while Markle is vegan, the royal is not afraid to indulge. In fact, in an interview with Delish in 2016, Markle confessed that she loves pasta and wouldn't miss the chance to try the good ones whenever she travels. "When I'm traveling, I won't miss an opportunity to try great pasta," Markle said.

However, pasta and potatoes are banned from Buckingham Palace, so Markle can't eat her favorite dishes whenever she visits Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. According to chef Darren McGrady, the Queen has banned pasta, rice and potatoes from her menu. It was the monarch's personal choice to stay away from carbs.

Martin and Markle have been friends for years. In fact, the duchess chose him to do her makeup for her royal wedding. According to the makeup artist, he was very pleased that Markle wanted to work with him for her royal wedding.

"Meghan and I communicate a lot through text because I travel for work and because of the time difference between the both of us, it's hard to get on the phone," Martin said during his guesting on "Good Morning America" (via Daily Express). "I may be in Cannes for the film festival but what's up' and she sent me the bride and groom emoji right back and I literally dropped my phone."

"Then she sent me the shhhh emoji back so I couldn't let anyone know," Martin continued. "I was like 'OK yeah, whatever you need.'"

Martin also asked Markle how he would address her after her royal weddding as they have known each other for years and he didn't want to disrespect him. The former "Suits" star reportedly laughed and told him, "I'm always going to be Meg. Meg."

Just recently, it was reported that Markle started to do her makeup just like Kate Middleton. The Duchess of Cambridge has made headlines when she decided to do her own makeup on her big day. Martin confirmed this.

"I didn't [do the makeup] but she's so good herself, right?" Martin wrote.

"She did her makeup herself for this," he responded to another fan.
