Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles made Meghan Markle's first birthday as a royal extra special.

On Saturday, the Duchess of Sussex turned 37 years old. It was Markle's first time celebrating her birthday as a member of the royal family. The senior members of the Firm made sure that she would be recognized as one of them.

Queen Elizabeth II took to Instagram and shared a candid photo of her with Markle during their trip to Cheshire. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip use The Royal Family account for their Twitter and Instagram accounts.

"Happy Birthday to HRH The Duchess of Sussex! #HappyBirthdayHRH," the Royal Family wrote.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall did not miss the event too. Clarence House shared a sweet tribute to Prince Harry's wife by posting a photo of the Duchess of Sussex standing with Prince Charles and Camilla. The snap was taken during Prince Charles' garden party back in May where Markle made her royal debut.

"Wishing HRH The Duchess of Sussex a very Happy Birthday," Clarence House wrote.

Prince Harry, Markle, Kate Middleton and Prince William share the same royal account for Twitter and Instagram via Kensington Palace. The account thanked everyone who sent warm wishes to the new royal.

"Thank you everyone for your lovely messages on The Duchess of Sussex's birthday! #HappyBirthdayHRH," Kensington Palace wrote on Instagram.

Markle spent her birthday by attending Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenk's wedding. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were expected to attend the event, but they were not seen during the ceremony. Prince William and Middleton had just enjoyed a vacation in Mustique where they were photographed enjoying a wild night out.

In related news, Middleton's parents, Carole and Michael, were accused of cashing in on Markle's birthday. The Middletons own a company called Party Pieces. Royal fans noticed that in the run-up of the Duchess of Sussex's natal day, the website offers birthday items. One of their promotion also featured a colorful banner with a personalized message that read: "Happy 18th Birthday Megan."

A number immediately noted that the name was similar to Markle's. However, it was just spelled without an "h."

The family was also accused of cashing in on Prince Harry and Markle's royal wedding earlier by selling wedding decors and Union Jack flats, banner, bowler hat, fabric waving flags and more. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's big day was considered a national celebration.
