Meghan Markle is not as popular as Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince Harry.

There is no doubt that the fab four are among the most popular figures today. However, among the four royals, Markle is the least popular despite her background as a professional actress.

According to Laura O’Callagan from Express, Markle has been named the sixth most popular member of the royal family. However, her approval ratings continue to trail behind Prince Harry, Prince William and Middleton.

The most popular royal is Prince Harry, followed by Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince Philip.

Markle received 52 percent positive ratings while her husband obtained 72 percent. The Duchess of Sussex scored higher among female interviewees with 57 percent. However, Markle’s positive ratings from men dropped to 47 percent.

About 14 percent or 5,765 individuals who participated in YouGov’s poll between May 2018 and March 2019 also confessed that they have a negative opinion about Prince Harry’s wife.

In February, George Clooney was criticized for comparing Markle to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana. One of those who reacted negatively was Piers Morgan.

According to Morgan, unlike the Princess of Wales, the former “Suits” star “milked all the global fame and attention that subsequently come her way with obvious glee.” In addition, the two women didn’t receive the same media attention because Princess Diana was one of the biggest stars on the planet while Markle wasn’t even one of the top three biggest stars in Kensington Palace.

Just recently, the palace announced that Prince Harry and Markle are separating their household from Prince William and Middleton. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to move closer to Queen Elizabeth II as they will now be based at Buckingham Palace. On the other hand, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will remain at Kensington Palace.

According to Sheela Mackintosh-Stewart, Prince Harry no longer needs his big brother Prince William’s constant support now that he has Markle by his side. Also, the future king doesn’t feel that he needs to look after his younger brother that much these days.
