Melania Trump celebrated Easter Sunday with her family and her social media followers.

The former first lady took to Twitter Sunday to wish everyone a happy Easter. Trump kept her message short and simple and did not tag anyone.

"Sending Easter blessings to everyone!" Trump wrote in the post, which has received nearly 85,000 likes as of writing.

A number of netizens reacted to Trump's tweet, with many returning the former first lady's greeting. However, some also mocked her over the Easter Sunday post.

"Go back to the spa and think about what it means to be a Christian. (you may need some instruction)," one Twitter user commented.

"To witness un-Christian 'Christians' celebrate this day is laughable," another added.

"Lol, like you care about any of the holidays," a third user wrote.

However, her supporters made sure to shower the former FLOTUS with love and support.

"Happy Easter Melania to you & the entire family. Please send my regards to the Greatest President we have ever had...45!!!!" one commented.

"Thank you, First Lady Trump. Blessings to you and yours!" a second netizen added.

"Madame FLOTUS, happy easter to you and your family! may the risen lord give hope and blessings to all!" a third user wrote.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump and his wife attended an Easter worship service Sunday at Christ Fellowship Church in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Senior pastor Todd Mullins said during the service that they welcome everyone in the church.

"We always welcome everyone to join us at Christ Fellowship in celebrating the resurrection of Jesus," the pastor was quoted by local news outlet WPTV as saying. "This year, perhaps more than ever, we hope that Jesus’ message of hope and salvation spreads widely and brings joy to all who hear it."

Last year, Melania announced the cancellation of the White House Easter Egg Roll as a precaution for the coronavirus outbreak. The annual Easter event has been held nearly every year since 1878 and is the responsibility of the first lady's office.

This year, the annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House was canceled for the second year in a row due to the pandemic.
