Twitter Compares Melania Trump, Jill Biden After First Lady’s Botched Spanish Attempt

Melania Trump and Jill Biden are being compared again on Twitter after the incumbent first lady’s botched Spanish attempt in public.

Biden was mocked on Twitter for what many considered as an embarrassing blunder after she mispronounced common Spanish words in her speech in Delano, California Wednesday. Several came after the FLOTUS saying Trump is better than her because the latter is allegedly able to speak five languages.

"Melania Trump would never embarrass herself the way Jill Biden does pandering to Hispanic voters," Brigitte Gabriel tweeted.

"Watching Jill Biden botch basic Spanish makes me miss Melania Trump, an extraordinary First Lady who is fluent in five languages," author Nick Adams wrote.

"Melania Trump is fluent in 5 languages. Jill Biden couldn’t even complete one sentence in Spanish. Where is media outrage. Thought so," news contributor Kambree added.

The tweets received mixed responses from other users with many agreeing with them and several leaving disparaging comments against Trump to show their support for Biden.

"Sorry, but I am choosing the teacher over the porn model as a role model for my daughters every single day," one commented.

"People saying Melania Trump speaks five languages, but I only ever heard her give Michelle Obama’s speeches in broken English," another wrote.

"1. Melania Trump is a college dropout. Jill Biden has a doctorate. 2. As anyone who has traveled there knows, most Europeans - particularly Eastern Europeans whose native languages don't travel well - speak several languages. 3. 'Fluent in five languages' - prove it," David Gaines commented on Adams' post.

When Biden spoke to farmworkers on the grounds of The Forty Acres monument on the birthday of César Chávez, she mentioned "Si Se Puede!" but pronounced it as "sise pwodway." Several found it hilarious, and even more said it was embarrassing because they were common Spanish words and the phrase was the motto of the United Farm Workers of America that was co-founded by Chávez.

"Seriously, Jill; do us all a favor and don’t attempt things waaay beyond you’re ability: like 8th grade Spanish. Too embarrassing for everyone," one tweeted.
