Jodie Sweetin (“Fuller House”) and Andrew Walker (“Bottled with Love”) star in Hallmark Channel’s brand new Countdown to Christmas movie, “Merry & Bright,” premiering Saturday night.

Tonight’s movie will be Sweetin’s third Christmas one on the network since joining the Hallmark family in 2017 with “Finding Santa.” It’ll also be her fourth movie with the network, overall, and her first with Walker.

As for the “Sabrina, the Teenage Witch” alum, this is his 15th Hallmark movie, after first getting his start on the network with his 2012 holiday movie, “A Bride for Christmas,” with Arielle Kebbel. Walker’s 16th Hallmark movie will be following closely behind, with “Christmas on My Mind” premiering on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries next month.

According to the synopsis, “As Christmas approaches, Cate (Sweetin), CEO of Merry & Bright, a small-town candy cane factory, faces the financial challenges of running a seasonal business. Meanwhile, Gabe (Walker), a New York consultant lacking in Christmas spirit, is begrudgingly tasked with saving the struggling company. Upon his arrival in the town, Gabe meets Cate, who resents his desire to restructure her business. Though they initially clash, Cate and Gabe unexpectedly begin developing feelings for each other.

“When Cate tells her mother, Joy (Sharon Lawrence), that she intends to focus on business and not get distracted by romance, Joy urges her to follow her heart. After Gabe convinces a major investment firm to finance Merry & Bright, Cate is thrilled. That is, until the investor and Gabe ask her to shift the focus of the factory. When Cate refuses to abandon the tradition her company was built on, she and Gabe part ways. On Christmas Eve, Cate wonders if Merry & Bright will ever find success and if she’ll ever find a holiday romance again.”

Directed by Gary Yates, the Hallmark movie was written by Erinne Dobson and also features Stephanie Moroz (Sophie Candace Murray), Darren Martens (Pete), Nancy Sorel (Sara Hall), Paul Essiembre (Royce Rutherford), Pilar Floyd (Tracy), Jason Wishnowski (Jeffrey), Ryder Morcilla (Little Girl) and Candace Smith (Barb Wilson) in its cast.
