A massive outage brought down Microsoft services Tuesday morning. Frustrated users were reporting experiencing difficulties with Outlook email accounts, Onedrive, Skype and Xbox services. Most could not log in to their accounts to access email, contacts, calls or account information.

The service pages on Microsoft showed that by 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, OneDrive was back and running but there were still some issues with Outlook email services. "We're investigating an issue in which some users may be unable to access or use Outlook.com services or features. We'll provide an update shortly," said the service health page. Xbox Live however, was still experiencing some issues that kept users from signing in or editing their accounts in any way.

While Microsoft did not give a reason for the outage, it was responsive on social media and updated customers once the problems had been resolved.

Some users were tweeting about residual issues late Tuesday morning.

Many were reporting that they still could not log in on their iPhones.

"We are aware that some customers are experiencing difficulties signing in to some services. Engineers are working to fully resolve this as soon as possible,” a Microsoft spokesperson told IBT in an email.
