Microsoft’s Your Phone app appears to be available to select users who are already running the Windows 10 April 2018 update. The Your Phone app allows users to seamlessly share data between Windows PCs and Android smartphones.

Microsoft actually began testing its Your Phone app last month with Windows 10 Insiders. And as of today, the app is available to download from the Microsoft Store. Unfortunately, it isn’t available to everyone just yet. The app is only available to some Windows 10 users in the U.S., according to Android Authority.

It should be noted that Microsoft hasn’t even given any official announcements on the availability of the Your Phone app. Since the app is already available to a limited capacity, it’s very likely that Microsoft will begin rolling it out to more users very soon.

Microsoft’s Your Phone app for Windows PCs allows users to access their files on their Android smartphones. The app will detect the user’s Android device and the user can simply drag and drop videos, photos and other files from their phone to their Windows 10 PC.

The app actually takes PC and smartphone integration a step above current cloud-based solution. Unlike One Drive or Google Drive, the Your Phone app doesn’t use cloud servers to sync data from one device to another. Instead, it simply allows data sharing between two devices. In future updates, Microsoft promises to bring in more features like mirroring the screen of the user’s Android smartphone. Another feature that’s expected to arrive is letting users view their smartphone notifications and messages on their Windows 10 PC.

For now, the Your Phone app only supports smartphones running Android 7.0 Nougat or later. However, Microsoft previously said that it is planning to bring iOS support sometime in the future, according to BGR.
