  • Tyson called Mayweather a little scared man

Mike Tyson unhesitantly dismissed Floyd Mayweather's bold claim that he is greater than Muhammad Ali, let alone the best ever to step inside the boxing ring.

"He's very delusional," said the youngest to ever become a heavyweight champion in history. "Listen, if he was anywhere near that realm of great as Muhammad Ali, he'd be able to take his kids to school by himself. OK, he can't take his kids to school by himself, and he's talking about he's great?"

In 2015, arguably the last stretch in the era considered to be the peak of his career, Mayweather Jr. was downright straightforward when he stated that he ranks over greats Ali and Sugar Ray Robinson, putting him at the pedestal of the greatest boxers in history.

"No one can ever brainwash me to make me believe that Sugar Ray Robinson and Muhammad Ali was better than me." the 42-year-old controversial boxing icon said.

Mayweather Jr. uttering those words is not surprising for the common boxing fan. The five-division world champion is after all a professional talker when the mouth guard is off.

His claim will always be subjective and up for debate, but Mayweather sure knows that history is not all his, as the likes of Ali and Robinson are the pillars who built the foundation of the sport.

“No one could ever brainwash me and tell me that. But one thing I will do — I'm going to take my hat off to them and respect those guys because those are the guys that paved the way for me to be where I'm at today.”

Nevertheless, Mike Tyson looked locked in for some virtual altercation against Floyd Mayweather Jr., labeling the latter as "a little scared man."

"Greatness is not guarding yourself from the people. It's being accepted by the people. Tyson said. "He can't take his kids alone to school by himself. He's a little scared man. He's a very small, scared man."
