Mike Tyson said he would have “no doubt” beaten Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and other heavyweight champions back in his prime.

Fans around the world can never get enough of “Iron Mike.” Ever since he officially retired from boxing in 2005, Tyson has been linked to an array of heavyweight fighters including some from MMA. In fact, fans as well as pundits and former champs have been predicting what would be the possible outcome if a prime Tyson takes on some of the biggest names in the heavyweight division today.

Normally, Tyson would dismiss any talks regarding his prime. He simply just despises his old self even though most of his fans are still lauding him for what he has accomplished in the sport. But finally, the 53-year-old addressed the issue about how would his prime self would do against the likes of Fury, Deontay Wilder and Joshua.

The debate has been settled during his latest YouTube live chats with fans. When Tyson was asked if he thinks he would have unified all the belts if he was still in his 20s today, he confidently said “Yes!”

“Listen, if you’re asking me if I was 20 years old, Yes! There’s no doudt. They’re really good fighters and I respect all these skills. It would have been very tough fighting them,” Tyson said.

Among all the present day heavyweight boxing superstars, it was Wilder who vocally claimed that he would have beaten even a prime Tyson. Wilder added more hype in his claim after his latest victory over Luis Ortiz. According to “The Bronze Bomber,” he thinks Tyson was kind of bitter about his success as the legend was reluctant to praise him publicly after an impressive win.

Despite all the rants from Wilder, Tyson still lauded Wilder for being a great fighter. In fact, after Fury defeated him in their blockbuster rematch, Tyson sent him a motivational message urging him to get right back inside the ring and give “The Gypsy King” another great fight.

“He has to go right back in, right away. Get yourself healthy, your head right, and get back in the ring,” Tyson said of Wilder following his loss to Fury in rematch.

During a recent catch-up with former heavyweight champ Shannon Briggs, Tyson apparently told him he still wants to fight. And when asked about the outcome of a Tyson vs. Wilder fight, Briggs exclaimed “Tyson” without a doubt.
