Miley Cyrus shared a new set of pictures on social media recently. Close on the heels of attending the Tom Ford’s show, the singer gave a speech and performed at a memorial service of the late hairstylist Oribe Canales that was held on Tuesday.

In a picture that has been shared on Instagram, Cyrus wore a single piece, black dress with a deep V-neck that revealed part of her cleavage. She wore a pair of large sunglasses and her trademark jewelry to finish the look.

Cyrus paid tribute to Canales in her post and called him “ KING OF GLAMOUR!” She said the memorial was gorgeous, where she got to “serve” the late hairstylist.

“We will miss you forever,” Cyrus wrote and added that she loves Canales “to the moon and back.” Commenting on her post, many of the fans complimented the singer for the emotional dedication speech she gave.

Cyrus choked up while giving a speech at Canales’ memorial, Page Six reported. The singer wasn’t the only one who paid tribute at the memorial service and she wasn’t the only one who got emotional. Many of the celebrities, which included some of the biggest names in the fashion industry, got “misty-eyed.”

Canales passed away at the age of 62 in December last year. The memorial service coincides with the Fashion Week that is being held in New York City, which allowed people from the industry to get together for the memorial service.

The celebrities in attendance included supermodels Christy Turlington and Veronica Webb, who spoke about the late hairstylist. Special video messages from Naomi Campbell and Jennifer Lopez were also played.

Cyrus sang “You Are My Sunshine,” and everyone in the audience joined her in the singing after her request. In her speech, she talked about how Canales visited her grandmother when she was sick and losing her hair. The hairstylist made a beautiful wig for her and gifted it without any charge.

Canales has worked with many celebrities, and used to count them as his friends. He previously shared a picture of Cyrus on his Instagram page.
