Miley Cyrus is always fighting for a cause. Just a day after Liam Hemsworth’s girlfriend called out NYFW designers for using fur, she is now back with another advocacy that is strongly against President Donald Trump’s administration.

Several hours before heading to the Grammy Awards 2017 on Sunday, Cyrus took to Instagram to share the word with her followers about the Trump administration’s attack against transgender students. The singer-songwriter shared a screenshot of an article exposing how the Department of Justice undermined the federal guidance for transgender students in schools.

The article quotes National Center for Transgender Equality director Mara Keisling as saying, “This is a callous attack on hundreds of thousands of students who simply want to be their true selves and be treated with dignity while they work to get an education, just like every other student.”

Upon learning of the attack, Cyrus was prepared to put up a fight against Trump and other officials. In her Instagram post, the “We Can’t Stop” hitmaker encouraged her fans to visit transequality.org to learn more of the cause. She also emphasized that she is willing to put up a “ruthless fight” for her transgender friends, whom she considers as family. She echoed her call to fight for what’s right when she stated, “We won’t give up or be silenced!”

Cyrus’ post received mixed reactions from her followers on social media. One positive response read: “Thank you so much … being transgender myself, I’m glad you’re on our side.” On the other hand, another fan commented: “Are you really this stupid or just very uneducated and following the wrong crowd.”

Meanwhile, Hemsworth’s rumored fiancée posted a follow-up hours later. This time, the singer, who got a Grammy nomination for best pop bocal album in 2015, uploaded a selfie in which she can be seen sipping coffee from a smiley face mug while wearing a Happy Hippie shirt. She urged her fans in the caption to “love, love always love!”

The Happy Hippie Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was founded by Cyrus in 2014 in support of the LGBTQ community and other discriminated populations. The organization fights for the rights and welfare of the youth who were left by their families because of their sexual orientation.
