Wireless service Mint Mobile announced on Wednesday that it is now offering a $30 unlimited phone plan, and it did so with an actor that hasn’t been seen in a while.

The company enlisted the help of Rick Moranis from the movie hits “Honey, I Shrunk The Kids” and “Little Shop of Horrors.” Along with “Deadpool” actor Ryan Reynolds, Moranis was brought on board by Mint Mobile to simply make an appearance in the ad launching its new plan.

Reynolds, 43, explained in the ad spot that it is hard to believe that Mint Mobile went so long without introducing an unlimited plan, adding that Moranis, 67, who he is a big fan of, was an actor that we've also “all gone too long without.”

Moranis, whose name was trending nationwide on Twitter following the commercial's debut, made a rare appearance in the clip just to hear Reynolds say that the public wanted him to be there.

“So, what do you want me to do?” Moranis asks. “You want me to say something about Mint?”

“No, that would have been smart,” Reynolds responds. “It’s $30. It’s unlimited. It will do just fine.”

Moranis continues: “Sounds good. I've really got to get a phone."

Reynolds, who owns Mint Mobile, a cheaper prepaid phone service, said on its website about the investment, “While every other tech titan is off chasing rockets, I’ll corner the budget-friendly wireless sector. Like most people, I only use rockets 10-12 times a year but I use my mobile service every day.”

Mint Mobile’s new plan offers unlimited talk and text for $90 for the first three months of service with 35 GB of 5G or LTE data, depending on signal strength.

The commercial comes as Moranis, whose last acting job was in 2018, is set to make a return to the big screen. The actor is slated to appear in a Disney “Honey, I Shrunk The Kids” reboot called “Shrunk,” EW reports.
