Police on Tuesday sought a 19-year-old Maple Heights, Ohio, man considered suicidal.

Albert Townsend was reported missing Monday night. He was reportedly seen leaving his home earlier in the day and neighbors told police he never returned. Police said they consider the situation urgent because Townsend is reportedly a suicide threat.

A missing person’s alert was issued Monday night as investigators began combing the area for him. No signs of self-harm or possible remains have been found by investigators in the surrounding area. Police also failed to find any means of suicide in or around Townsend’s home.

Townsend is described as an African American, 5-foot-8 and weighing 145 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was reportedly wearing blue jeans with black jogging pants underneath, and a black and white hoodie with “USA” printed on the front of it.

Police are asking anyone with information leading to Townsend’s whereabouts to come forward.
