Authorities are on the lookout for a 12-year-old Virginia girl who has been missing for the past three days. The FBI is helping local law enforcement officials in the search.

Olivia Green was last seen at her home off Jones Creek Drive in Powhatan on Thursday, Powhattan County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.

She was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and shorts. Green is described as a white female, 5 feet tall and approximately 97lbs. She has blonde hair and hazel eyes.

The FBI has released pictures of Green taken when she last attended school Thursday. She was wearing crocs and hoodies.

"We can't do this alone though, we are going to need the community's help," Brad Nunnally, Powhattan County Sheriff, said, reported news outlet 6 News Richmond.

Nunnally added that Olivia does not have access to "some of the medications that she takes."

Olivia's family held a press conference Sunday and urged the public to help them find the missing girl. "My parents and I want to speak directly to you," Olivia’s sister said. "If you're watching this, we know your [unintelligible] feelings right now, but we are not mad at you. We just need you back home safe," she added.

Law enforcement officials have requested property owners to check their outbuildings and also doorbell cameras. Anyone with information about Greens can contact the FBI Richmond office at 804-261-1044 or the Powhatan County Sheriff's Office at 804-598-5656.
