Pennsylvania police continued their search Tuesday for an Amish teenager who last seen leaving church over the weekend.

Linda Stoltzfoos, 18, was last seen walking home from church Sunday in Bird-In Hand, Pennsylvania. Bird-In Hand, which is located roughly between Philadelphia and Harrisburg, is a community of just over 400 is comprised largely of Amish and Mennonite residents.

The East Lampeter Township Police Department began its search on Sunday near a farm Stoltzfoos was allegedly seen passing by on her walk home. Search efforts resumed around 8:30 a.m. on Monday, with hundreds of volunteers assisting police in combing the surrounding area. However, no evidence of Stoltzfoos possible whereabouts was found.

Around 100 residents gathered for a candlelight vigil at 7:45 p.m. Monday to pray for Stoltzfoos’ safe return.

Search efforts continued Tuesday, though no new updates were available.

Stoltzfoos is described as white, 5-foot-10 and 125 pounds. She was last seen wearing a tan dress, white apron, and a white cap.

East Lampeter Township police asked anyone with information about Stoltzfoos’ whereabouts to come forward immediately.
