Following Jennifer Dulos' disappearance on May 24, 2019, many considered the role that her estranged husband Fotis Dulos, and his former girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, could have played in the potential crime. Throughout the subsequent investigation, new details have continued to emerge as the case surrounding the whereabouts of the New Canaan, Connecticut, resident continues.

Now, more than a year removed from the last time the mother of five was seen, the "one-time property empire" previously owned by Fotis has gone into foreclosure.

According to the Stamford Advocate, Fotis' estate is readying to make its way through probate court. This includes the house where Fotis and Jennifer both lived until she left in June 2017 and filed for divorce. Following Jennifer's decision to leave the property, Fotis continued to live there. Troconis later resided there as well before unexpectedly moving out, though she was granted access to return.

Attorney Richard Weinstein, who is representing Jennifer Dulos’ mother, Gloria Farber, stated that he is expecting Farber will obtain the title to the 14,000-square-foot Jefferson Crossing property in Farmington by the end of July. At that time, according to the publication, the home will be put up for sale. He also indicated that he believes the transfer could happen as soon as this week, but would likely be subject to a 20-day appeal period.

This is not the first time that Farber has moved forward with legal proceedings surrounding Fotis and his finances. Leading up to the foreclosure dealings, she also filed a motion and memorandum, which said that she would like to see his "personal accounts and his company's books." Additionally, she had also been awarded $2M from Fotis' estate following his death by suicide earlier this year.

Aside from the discussion surrounding Fotis' former residence, other developments in the case have taken place in recent months. Not only has it been said that attorneys had previously started wrangling over all of his assets and could file "malicious" lawsuits, but his former attorney, Norm Pattis, also indicated in May that he will no longer be speaking about the Dulos case moving forward.
