Liverpool FC teammates Mohamed Salah and Dejan Lovren are the best of friends off the field. They enjoy each other’s company, their bromance is well known and loved among the Red fans on social media.

Salah established himself as one of the nicest soccer players after he was pictured in a Sainsbury's petrol station in full training gear and he reportedly paid for everyone's petrol.

Salah, who moved from Roma to Liverpool ahead of the 2017-18 season, had a memorable debut season, scoring 44 goals in 52 appearances for the Anfield side. With 91 goals in 144 matches, across all tournaments, Salah has also won the Premier League’s Golden Boot Award in the last two seasons.

The Premier League 2019-20 season, which got suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, is set to resume in a few days. Liverpool are just two wins away from clinching their first league title in 30 years. Salah, who has scored 16 goals in 26 Premier League matches this season, has already begun to win the fans' hearts.

While the Liverpool fans were quick to acknowledge his efforts on social media, Salah’s teammate Lovren chose to mock his friend about not paying for his coffee before the Croatian praised him for the generous gesture at the gas station.

“I heard that @MoSalah paid a couple of days ago the gas for everyone at the petrol station...Great gesture. We can't paste this image from the Clipboard, but you can save it to your computer and insert it from there. But can you pay at least once for me the coffee?? Usually, you are a tight guy so I am surprised, but anyway well done,” a cheeky Lovren wrote on his official Twitter account.

Salah and Lovren are widely known as "coffee buddies" because they became close friends after their row over who should order the coffee? The two did a whole eight-minute video about it.

Liverpool’s first match after the pandemic shutdown is the Merseyside derby against Everton at Goodison Park.

If reigning champions Manchester City lose their fixture against Arsenal, Liverpool could be crowned champions if they defeat Everton next weekend (June 21).
