A member of the Dunphy clan will be tying the knot on Wednesday’s episode of “Modern Family” Season 8.

In “Frank’s Wedding,” Phil’s (Ty Burrell) dad, Frank (Fred Willard), will be marrying his girlfriend, Lorraine (Faith Prince), in a 1920s-themed wedding ceremony. In his attempt to get into the festive spirit, Phil encourages his entire family to attend his dad’s union in costume. But when they arrive at the venue and realize they are the only ones dressed up, Claire (Julie Bowen) and her kids will come up with a plan to prank Phil.

Elsewhere, Jay (Ed O’Neill) will master the art of saying no. But when he realizes that no one is approaching him or asking him for anything anymore, he will immediately reconsider his actions. Additionally, Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) will have a hilarious storyline in episode 18. When Cam finally stops hiding behind his partner Mitchell, he will gather up the courage to stand up to his sister, Pam (Dana Powell).

Meanwhile, John Gemberling will reprise his role as Ray in the upcoming episode of the hit ABC sitcom. Gemberling was last seen in “Modern Family” in episode 15, titled “Finding Fizbo.” Ray happens to be Lorraine’s son. In episode 15, Jay and Ray teamed up to target Phil during a game of Uno. Instead of the three male characters playing and competing with each other, Jay and Ray hijacked the game and left Phil all by himself. This resulted to Phil telling his dad that he’s scared of how things would change when he finally makes things official with Lorraine.

“Modern Family” Season 8, episode 19 will air on ABC on April 5 at 8 p.m. EST.
