Two “Game of Thrones” stars and real-life friends were reportedly “robbed blind” during a vacation in India by a bizarre culprit.

According to an Instagram post from Emilia Clarke, she and former co-star Rose Leslie’s hotel room were ransacked by local monkeys during a trip to India. Based on the light tone of the post, Clarke and Leslie didn't appear to be too bothered by the incident. Clarke played series lead Daenerys Targaryen on the recently concluded HBO fantasy series, and Leslie played supporting character Ygritte in the show’s second, third and fourth seasons.

“This is just two gals buzzed off our faces on India, peace, being robbed blind by monkeys, (we hardly put up a fight) the best two books I’ve read in years,” Clarke said in her post.

Based on the gallery of photos Clarke included in her post, the monkeys appear to have mostly been interested in the fruit bowl in the two friends’ hotel room. The books she mentions in the post appear to be “The Overstory” by Richard Powers and “Saltwater” by Jessica Andrews.

“Yoga, spice, mamma earth and figuring out that all you’re ever looking for can be found within,” Clarke’s post continues. “Corny as hell but my god is it true.”

“Game of Thrones” recently came to end in May after its eighth season. Clarke will next appear in the holiday romance film, “Last Christmas” with Henry Golding. Leslie is married to another of her former co-stars, Kit Harrington, who played series lead Jon Snow.
