Lifetime’s kicking off its 2018 It’s A Wonderful Lifetime programming event with the premiere of “My Christmas Inn” on Wednesday. The new holiday romance stars Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Rob Mayes.

Both are familiar with the world of TV rom-coms, as Mowry-Hardrict starred in 2012 ABC Family (now Freeform) flick, “The Mistle-Tones,” and Mayes’ first starring role was in MTV’s “The American Mall,” opposite Nina Dobrev, in 2008. While the two actors were both in ABC’s “Mistresses” for a bit, this is their first movie together.

Aside from that, there’s another onscreen reunion happening in “My Christmas Inn.” And it’s a big one. Jackée Harry and Tim Reid, who both starred alongside Mowry-Hardrict in the ABC/WB sitcom, “Sister, Sister,” for six seasons, are also in the Lifetime premiere. There’s been much talk of Mowry-Hardrict and her twin sister, and former co-star, Tamera Mowry-Housley, wanting to revive the series, and it looks like this is a good first step.

Here’s what you’ll get from the big Christmas reunion film:

“With the holiday season in full swing, Jen Taylor (Mowry-Hardict) is about to score a big promotion at the San Francisco ad agency where she works,” the synopsis begins. “But her life is unexpectedly turned upside down when she inherits a cozy inn in Alaska from her aunt. When she goes to inspect the property and meets handsome town attorney Steve Anderson (Mayes), she’s surprised to find that nothing is what she expected.”

With all of the fun activities going on and the kind community surrounding her, Jen starts to think the inn might just be the future she needs. And that future might just include Steve, as well.

“My Christmas Inn” premieres on Lifetime on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST.
