  • Deku looks forward to improving his One For All Quirk
  • The new chapter is delayed due to the Golden Week holidays
  • "My Hero Academia" Chapter 311 is scheduled to release on May 9

The past users of One For All back up Deku in his fight against Shigaraki, All For One and the League of Villains. But fans will have to wait to see Deku in action again as "My Hero Academia" Chapter 311 is not releasing this week.

Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will remain on a one-week break due to the Golden Week holidays (April 29 – May 5) in Japan. Since "My Hero Academia" manga is part of Shonen Jump, Chapter 311 is now postponed to May 9, Manga Plus confirmed.

The new chapter is likely to revolve around Deku training to further improve his Quirk while fighting solo against the villains.

The previous chapter opens with citizens going after a woman with mutant Quirk. The citizens attack her believing she is a monster. She tries to explain her side but her attackers disregard her pleas and fire at her.

Deku arrives and blocks the attack. He tells the citizens to calm down and tells them the woman is not a threat to others.

She said she was slow to evacuate the town and didn't face any major obstacle; so she hid in her home and waited for things to settle down. The woman wants to take shelter at one of the hero schools.

Later, All Might arrives in his fancy car and Deku asks him if he can take the woman to the nearest shelter. Before Deku leaves, All Might gives him a bento box with tonkatsu to keep his spirits up.

The scene changes to Deku overlooking the city with the fifth user of One For All – Daigoro Banjo. He tells Deku it is like they have slid back to the darker days. Deku says they still don't have any leads on Shigaraki, Dabi, All For One, the High-end Nomu and the League of Villains.

He adds that with All For One's Quirk inside Shigaraki, he is extremely strong for the heroes to beat. Even with Endeavor and Aizawa by their side, they could not take down the villains. Until he has the full power of One For All, Deku doesn't stand a chance against Shigaraki or his League of Villains.

"My Hero Academia" releases every Sunday. Fans can read the digital copy of the manga on Viz and Manga Plus.
