It is time to go Plus Ultra and surpass the rivals. "My Hero Academia" Season 5, Episode 1 has got a release date as Class 1-A and Class 1-B are ready for their joint training sessions.

According to animetv_jp, "My Hero Academia" Season 5 will start off with Episode 0, which will likely be a recap. Episode 0 will air on March 27. Episode 1 of the fifth season is scheduled to air on April 3.

The third preview trailer for "My Hero Academia" Season 5 reveals the opening theme song, titled "No. 1" by DISH. Toho Animation is streaming the trailer and the description states that the ending theme song, "Ashiato," is performed by The Peggies.

Season 5 of the anime will explore the Joint Training Arc. Students of Class 1-A and Class 1-B are divided into groups of four and they will be training in one section of the Athletic Grounds Gamma. There are 40 students, but after the introduction of Shinso, the teachers need to find a way to accommodate him.

It is announced that Shinso will take part in two matches and join both teams. Two of the five matches will be five against four. The scenario is the heroes trying to capture the villains. Both the teams should think of the opponents as villains.

Each team gets a home base, which is a prison and as soon as someone is thrown inside the cage, they are counted as captured.

"My Hero Academia" Season 5 episodes will air every Saturday.
