Halozyme Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:HALO) closed at a 52-week high of $9.05 on a volume of about 1.54 million shares after a series of recent insider buys from board member Randall Kirk. The stock touched an intra-day high of $9.06 and a low of $8.64 after opening the day's trading session at $8.72.

Pharmacyclics, Inc. (NASDAQ:PCYC) shares closed at a new 52-week high of $14.34. The stock opened at $13.73 and touched an intra-day high of $14.38 and low of $13.65. More than 980,000 shares of the company changed hands on Nov.29.
